We aim for perfection, but if we missed the mark, we want to hear about it. All complaints should be forwarded to the home manager of Ashiyana House using our contact details below. We take all complaints seriously, acknowledging them promptly and confirming receipt within 5 days. We will investigate your complaint and provide you with a outcome within 28 days. If more time is needed, we will communicate this clearly.
A copy of our Compliments and Complaints Policy can be obtained via the contact details below.
Children and young people also have the right to make a complaint if they are unhappy with any part of the care or support we provide. All children people are provided with a copy of our Children's Guide and an Easy-Read version of our Complaints Policy when they move in. Complaints can also be raised during key worker sessions and house meetings.
We encourage children to use independent advocacy support and talk to any trusted team member or professional to ensure their voices are heard. If a child wishes to make a complaint, we provide accessible, child-friendly information so they can do so independently of an adult.
